This course will explore persuasive writing and the power of words! Students will be able to understand the structures of this type of writing and will use appropriate thinking maps and strategies to brainstorm ideas, organize their thoughts, create rough and final draft pieces to present. Students will continue to build on self-editing skills using a rubric as part of the writing process. Enrollment in this course will result in $75 being deducted from the enrolled student's Sage Oak Instructional Fund account. Small materials fee may also apply.
