Extra, Extra write all about it! In this class, students will be exploring different magazines and newspapers to read, discuss, and write their own articles on current events from around the world. We will be covering a variety of current event topics such as events, sports, weather, and international relations. Students will work to develop and apply their informational reading, communication, writing, and critical thinking skills to the current event topics from the week. Enrollment in this course will result in $75 being deducted from the enrolled student's Sage Oak Instructional Fund account. Small materials fee may also apply.
